First, a survey of the history philosophy is undertaken to show how different thinkers have recognised agency image. By picking up threads offered by ancient concept active images, late medieval multiperspectivity in relation founding theory modern state, elements image activity found from Leibniz Vico, Hegel Peirce, and, finally, various returns these traditions that took place 20th century, an updated systematisation becomes possible: schematic, substitutive and intrinsic acts. Thirdly, relationship between act contemporary philosophy, mainly new realism incarnation, analysed.
